Sandicliffe Accesses Economies of Scale with Whistl Parcels

Sandicliffe is the East Midlands’ leading automotive provider, operating more than 13 award‑winning dealerships across Nottingham, Leicester and Loughborough. Established in 1948, the business has grown into a trusted supplier of Ford, Mazda, Nissan, Kia and ŠKODA vehicles.

Building on this success, Sandicliffe Shop was launched in 2010 to supply car products and parts nationwide. The business offers a wide range of accessories, tools and equipment, including Thule sports racks, carriers and roof boxes. Today, Sandicliffe Shop is a true multichannel retailer, selling through its own website as well as eBay and Amazon, with all channels managed via Linnworks.

Streamlining Fulfilment with Whistl Parcels

As order volumes increased, Sandicliffe needed a delivery partner that could integrate seamlessly with its existing order management system.

Kevin Beeton, Head of Internet Sales at Sandicliffe, explains:

“Before we started working with Whistl Parcels, we were looking for a partner that could integrate with Linnworks. Whistl Parcels were able to confirm this straight away, allowing us to connect our systems and print parcel labels quickly and easily.”

This integration has had an immediate operational impact. By simplifying label creation across multiple carriers, Sandicliffe’s team can process more orders each day, freeing up valuable time and supporting continued growth.

“Whistl Parcels set up labels for each of the different parcel carriers we use daily. Combined with Linnworks, it’s made it far easier to manage listings and orders across Sandicliffe Shop, eBay and Amazon.”

Reducing Costs While Saving Valuable Time

Beyond system integration, Whistl Parcels has helped Sandicliffe achieve tangible cost and efficiency savings.

“We were delighted to discover that Whistl Parcels could offer great prices, best‑in‑class customer service and dedicated account management,” Kevin adds. “Whenever we’ve needed updates or new carriers installed, the team has been incredibly helpful.”

“Not only is Whistl Parcels saving us money, but the label‑printing functionality alone is saving us many man‑hours on a task that would otherwise be completed manually.”

Strengthening Integration for the Future

Steve Riley, IT Director at Whistl Parcels, comments:

“We’re extremely proud to manage distribution for an organisation that’s so well recognised across the East Midlands. We continue to invest in our Linnworks compatibility, including the launch of a .NET integration currently in testing. This will allow customers to access Whistl Parcels through Linnworks both on the web and on desktop.”

“Highly proactive, Whistl Parcels' Sales, Customer Service and Account Management teams will always reply promptly with either a call or email and will keep us updated with the outcome of the query.”
